Regulations

Regulations cover every area of the trusts activities and general governance. The Board of Trustees may constitute and adopt as policy, proposed regulations at any time. The regulations may not be altered, except at a general meeting, the notice of which contains specific proposals to amend or append the rules. Proposed alterations or additions may not be brought into effect until The Kennel Club has been advised and approved the alteration. New rules or amendments introduced specifically to meet Kennel Club requirements shall be adopted immediately, provided they comply with Charity law. The trust also has codes of practice, ethics and conduct in place. These are not regulations, but under provisions made in membership regulations (Appendix A – Deed Of Trust) members are bound by codes and any breach may result in disciplinary action. The Board of Trustees may adopt or amend codes as any time, with the consultation of the membership.
