The trust is now in its second year of membership of the FRSB and it is proof of the trusts commitment to fundraising standards and ethics, and also a testament to the hard work of the trusts Trustees, Committee and fundraisers and a sign of their quality and determination that the trust should always be fair, honest and transparent to ensure that its supporters truly can “give with confidence”
In a letter to the Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust, Alistair McLean (Chief Executive of the Fund Raising Standard Board) said: “We [FRSB] were very pleased you are continuing your membership of the FRSB scheme for another year” he continued “Recent research shows that 64% of the public are more likely to trust a charity which is a member and user of the FRSB tick logo, with 37% more likely to donate to FRSB scheme members.”
Mr Mclean went on in his letter to say “It is important that we work together to ensure the success of the FRSB and to achieve our collective goals for a better climate for giving for your donors and a more secure future for fundraising.”
Mr Gregory, Chief Executive of the Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust, after receiving the letter and membership for another year, commented: “The Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust is committed to the highest standards, ethics and transparency in everything that we do, we have worked hard over the last two years to ensure that all our procedures and fundraising are in accordance with the law and the codes of ethics. We consider it a great honour to once again be proudly displaying our membership of the FRSB for another year”.
