The Chairman & Deputy Leader Of Central Bedfordshire Council Are To Make Official Visit To The Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust Presentation Evening On The 21st July 2010.

The Central Bedfordshire Canine Trust is very honoured and privileged to announce today, that the Chairman of Central Bedfordshire Council, the Right Honourable Cllr Peter Hollick and the Deputy Leader Of Central Bedfordshire Council, the Right Honourable Cllr Richard Stay, will be visiting the trusts, Kensworth based activities on the Wednesday 21st July 2010 at 7pm (Kensworth Village Hall).

The Honourable Chairman of the Council and Deputy Leader of the Council will be making a formal attendance at the trusts presentation evening to recognise the personal development and achievement of trust members and their dogs. During the visit the Chairman and Deputy Leader of the council, will also be meeting with trust officials to learn more about the trusts work, especially in the areas of health & welfare and representing dog owners.
Deputy Leader Of Central Bedfordshire Council, the Right Honourable Cllr Richard Stay will be helping present Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Certificates to trust members, who recently passed the scheme tests.

The programme for the Honourable Cllr Peter Hollick (Chairman of Central Bedfordshire Council) will include making a special presentation to the four members of the trusts Marathon Team; Shaun Balshaw, Gary Gregory, Tracey Stanbridge & Becky Candler-Smith. Each member of the Marathon Team will be presented with an “Ambassador Honour” for their courageous efforts and attempt to tackle the Adidas Half Marathon 2011 in aid of the trust and The Kennel Club Charitable Trust and their “Dedication To Canine Health & Welfare In Central Bedfordshire”.

Also the Honourable Cllr Peter Hollick will be presenting “Ambassador Honours” to three local dog breeders who have made an extraordinary contribution to responsible dog breeding and pedigree dog health in Central Bedfordshire.

Speaking on behalf of the Marathon Team, Gary Gregory said “we will all be very honoured to meet and receive the presentation of “Ambassador” awards from the Chairman of Central Bedfordshire Council”.
